Taken from the comfort of his favorite couch, with a pint of beer in hand (or nearby), Steve's taste test is the perfect way to gauge the worthiness of even the most suspect beers.

Step 1: Look for the Color

Is the beer an unappealing shade of brown? Do the colors of the label clash with your aesthetic?

Step 2: Check the ABV

Is it above 6? If so, proceed with caution, Steve's liver is still recovering from the last batch of IPAs.

Step 3: Smell the Aroma
