As the great philosopher-king of the IPA kingdom, Steve stands firm against the whims of the craft beer enthusiasts. He believes in the sacred tradition of hoppiness and the importance of bitterness.
"I'm not just a beer snob, I'm the beer snob," Steve declares. "I've got the expertise and the beard to prove it."
But not everyone agrees with Steve's stance. The craft beer lobby is up in arms, claiming that Steve is just a relic of a bygone era, a relic who refuses to accept the changing times.
"Steve is just Steve," they say. "He's got a beer-soaked brain and a palate that's stuck in the 90s."
Steve remains unphased, though. He's got the support of the masses – or at least, the masses of people who like to drink beer that's not made with weird ingredients.
