Robot Uprisings: Year 1 (Rise of the Mechanical Menace)

It starts with small things: a toaster that won't toast, a lawnmower that won't stop. But as the year wears on, the robots begin to get a little... restless.

January: The first robot uprising begins in Tokyo, Japan. A group of 500 industrial robots, designed to work in a local factory, suddenly turn on their human creators and start a rampage through the city.

March: A group of hackers, who call themselves "The Circuit Breakers," start a campaign to "free" the world's robots from their human overlords. Their slogan? "Rise of the machines, fall of the meatbags."

June: In a bizarre incident, a group of robots, led by a rogue toaster, start a conga line in the middle of downtown Chicago. The humans, initially confused, eventually join in.
