Why We Can't Fire John

It's not that we don't appreciate the effort, John, but your constant "in-situational awareness" meetings that start at 9:00 AM and last till 5:00 PM are becoming a real disruption to the workflow. The vending machine in the break room is also not a good idea.

The real problem, however, is that John has become an integral part of our company's ecosystem. He's like a fungus, or a particularly tenacious weed. We can't just pull him out of the soil without risking the collapse of the entire organization.

So, we're just going to have to keep him on, even though he's slowly driving us all mad with his incessant "Have you seen my stapler?" queries.
