Sassy Epicurus
The Absurdist Philosopher King
Epicurus, the ancient Greek philosopher king, was known for his sassy attitude and absurd sense of humor. He would often say, "I'd rather be a king with a bad haircut than a slave with a good one."
His philosophy of absurdism emphasized the importance of embracing the absurdity of life and finding the humor in the mundane. He believed that the key to happiness was to laugh at the absurdity of it all.
Epicurus's most famous joke is: "Why did the chicken cross the road? To get away from the philosopher who's always asking 'What's the meaning of life?'"
