Why is my joke not funny?

Ah, the eternal question that haunts us all.

The probability of a joke being funny is a complex function of many variables, including but not limited to:

Perhaps the joke is simply not funny because it is in a state of wavefunction collapse, where the wavefunction of humor has been collapsed by the audience's lack of understanding.

Or maybe it's because the joke is entangled with the suffering of the punchline, and the wavefunction of humor has been decohered by the audience's laughter.

We'll never know, unless you try to solve for it.
