Paradoxical Procrastination Techniques
Warning: the following methods may not actually help you get anything done.
Method 1: The Infinite Loop
- Start by opening a single tab in your browser.
- Open 10 more tabs, each with a slightly different version of the same tab.
- Close the original tab, then open 10 more, and so on.
- Repeat this process until you've lost all sense of time and purpose.
Method 2: The Socratic Method
- Ask yourself, "What's the worst thing that could happen if I don't do this?"
- When the worst-case scenario seems too dire, ask, "What's the worst thing that could happen if I don't do that?"
- Continue this process until you've created an existential crisis that prevents you from taking action.
