Bunker Log, Day 345
Today, I woke up in a cold sweat, wondering if the world had finally ended. It hadn't. Yet. I checked the monitors and everything is still ticking. The hamsters are still spinning, the coffee machine still beeps, and the emergency procedure manual is still on the shelf. I took a deep breath and began my daily routine: checking the seals, checking the supplies, and checking the hamsters. All good.
I also took a moment to admire the bunker's interior design. The utilitarian aesthetic never fails to impress. The exposed pipes, the cold concrete, and the general air of impending doom all blend together in perfect harmony.
As I worked, I pondered the meaning of it all. Why do I, a humble bunker dweller, toil away in this underground lair? Is it to protect humanity's precious data, or is it for the thrill of being a modern-day hermit? I'll let you know when I figure it out.
