Our committee meeting was a catastrophe. The projector broke down, the coffee machine spewed forth a fountain of scalding hot water, and we still haven't found the missing minutes from last week's meeting.
We're still trying to recover from the trauma, but we'll get through it. After all, we're a committee of highly trained professionals... or at least, we're highly trained in making excuses.
