Committee Foosball League Rules

In the spirit of bureaucratic red tape and unnecessary complexity, the following rules govern our esteemed league.

Rule 1: Registration

To participate, each player must register with the Committee of Foosball Enthusiasts (COFE) at least 30 minutes prior to any scheduled match. This includes, but is not limited to:

Rule 2: Equipment

All players must use an officially sanctioned, regulation-sized foosball table with a minimum of 4 players' initials etched into the side panel.

Any table deemed 'unofficial' or 'un-sanctioned' will result in immediate disqualification.

Rule 3: Match Play

Matches will be best 2 out of 3 games, with each game played to 11 points. Any player found to be using a 'trick' or 'unapproved' shot will be subject to a penalty of at least one game.

Rule 4: Disputes

In the event of a dispute, players must appeal to the COFE's Dispute Resolution Committee. Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification and a sternly-worded letter.
