The Break Room Safety Committee: Proposal 2

Meeting Notes

Proposal 2: The Great Coffee Machine Debacle

Presented by: Bob, Jan, and Steve (in that order)

Summary:

The current coffee machine has been a source of contention in the break room. Caffeine-starved employees have been known to growl at each other over the last cup of coffee. It's time for a change.

Recommendation:

We propose the installation of a new coffee machine, one that can dispense both hot and cold beverages with a minimum of human intervention. This will not only reduce conflict but also increase productivity and overall job satisfaction.

Implementation:

We estimate a 2-day setup and training period. During this time, we will ensure that the new machine is fully calibrated and that all employees understand its intricacies.

Budget:

We have allocated $5,000 for the new machine and an additional $1,000 for employee training and support.

Additional Recommendations:

Consider installing a water cooler for those who don't drink coffee.

Implement a "no talking about politics" policy in the break room.

Install a foosball table in the break room. It's a matter of safety, people!
