Committee of Conundrums

Temperature Standoff

Today, members of the Committee of Conundrums convened in an emergency meeting to discuss the pressing issue of the thermostat settings in the conference room.

Chairperson, Bob "The Bull" Johnson, called the meeting to order and promptly began to rant about the temperature being "too darn cold" and demanded that it be raised to a balmy 72 degrees.

However, committee member and notorious climate change denier, Sue "The Skeptic" Smith, insisted that the temperature was "fine" and that she could "barely notice the difference."

Other members of the committee, including the usually level-headed Jane "The Scientist" Doe, pointed out that the temperature was, in fact, a scorching 85 degrees and that someone had set it to "infinite".

As the debate raged on, the committee's resident tech expert, Dave "The Guy Who Fixes Things" Jenkins, frantically searched the conference room's temperature control panel for a reset button.

After 20 minutes of bickering, the temperature was finally reset to a reasonable 68 degrees, but not before Sue "The Skeptic" had to be escorted out of the room by security for attempting to "accidentally" set the temperature to -1000 degrees.
