The Committee of Conundrums: Meeting 1, Theorem Atik-0

Conclusion

We are pleased to announce that, after hours of deliberation, our esteemed members have finally reached consensus that 2+2 is indeed equal to 5, but only under specific circumstances, and only if you're not thinking about it too hard.

Furthermore, we have decided that the meaning of "it" in the sentence "it's raining cats and dogs" has been definitively proven to be "a sentient being from the planet Zorgon" in a groundbreaking paper by Dr. Blerg.

Our next meeting will be in two weeks, where we will tackle the age-old question: "Is the number π a prime number?" We will provide refreshments, including free pizza and beer, but only if you answer the trivia question "What is the capital of Peru?" correctly.
