The Great Donut Debate: Meeting 1

Next Meeting: Squid Revolt

Minutes of the Meeting:

Chairman, Reginald P. Bottomsworth

Opening remarks:

"Good morning, esteemed members of the Committee of Conundrums. Today, we gather to address a matter of great import: the donut. Is it a pastry, a dessert, or perhaps a sentient being deserving of our compassion and understanding?

Member, Balthazar McSnazz:

"I propose we categorize donuts as a form of sentient being. They are, after all, comprised of a sentient mixture of sugars, fats, and sprinkles."

Member, Zephyr Wystan:

"I disagree. Donuts are merely a vehicle for the transmission of sugar and calories into the human body. We must not be swayed by their cute, fluffy exteriors."

Resolution:

After much deliberation, the Committee voted 3-2 in favor of designating donuts as a sentient being, pending further study.
