Argument 1: Socks are a human right
As a proud member of the Sock Liberation Front, I demand that we be allowed to wear our socks in space! Who's to say that the tyranny of zero-gravity environments can't be fought against with the power of a good pair of argyles?

I've lost count how many space missions have been ruined by rogue socks. The risk to navigation, the risk to safety! We can't let this madness continue.

Think about it, folks: socks are a symbol of comfort, of equality, of the universal right to warmth and coziness. If we allow socks in space, we'll be one step closer to a galactic utopia!
