Here lies the chronicle of a group of visionaries who claimed to have mastered the art of pretending to try hard.
These prophets, armed with nothing but an air of confidence, would convene in secret chambers deep within the Committee of Conundrums, where they would deliberate on the finer points of doing nothing.
Their sacred texts, penned in haste and with reckless abandon, were bound in leather volumes adorned with golden locks and ornate filigree.
These tomes contained the secrets of the trade: The 5-Point Plan for Faking Productivity, The Art of Saying "I'll get right on it" When in Reality You Have No Intention, and the Lost Art of Procrastination.
But alas, their empire crumbled when one of their own turned against them, using their own tactics against them. The people were left to wonder, "Is it a sign of the times, or just a sign of the pretender's times?"
