Boring Biographies of the Vice Chairperson
Meet Bob Smith, Vice Chairperson of the Committee of Conundrums, a position he has held for 12 years. In that time, he has managed to make 7 meetings per week, every week, without fail. His hobbies include: attending meetings, eating sandwiches, and staring at spreadsheets. He has a wife named Carol and two kids, who are both lawyers.
His favorite thing about being Vice Chairperson is the free coffee machine in the break room. "It's the best part of my job," he says. "I mean, have you ever tried to make sense of our meeting agendas? It's like trying to solve a puzzle, but without the fun of a puzzle."
When not attending meetings, Bob enjoys watching paint dry and reorganizing his sock drawer.
