Article 4: Never Tell a Joke on Tuesday

In the great tradition of our esteemed Committee of Conundrums, we decree that Tuesdays shall be a day of unmitigated solemnity, free from the scourge of mirth and merriment. Why? Because on Tuesdays, the air is thick with the stench of TPS reports and meeting minutes. You wouldn't want to disturb the delicate balance of bureaucratic ennui, now would you?

So, on this most hallowed day, we implore you: do not tell a joke. Do not crack a smile, nor make a wisecracking remark. Instead, maintain a stoic countenance, as befits the gravity of the occasion.
