Sock Standards and Regulation

As members of the Sock Squad, it is our duty to uphold the highest standards of sockery.

Below are the official regulations for sock pairing, sock length, and sock texture. Failure to comply will result in a stern letter from the Sock Overlord.

Section 1: Sock Pairing

Section 1, Subsection A: Crazy Sock Policy

When pairing socks, the following rules apply:

• Matching is optional, but strongly discouraged.
• Stripes with stripes, dots with dots, and polka dots with polka dots.
• No pairing with a sock that is significantly smaller or larger than the other.

Exceptions to this rule may be made in emergency situations, but only with explicit approval from the Sock Overlord.

Section 2: Sock Length

Section 2, Subsection B: Sock Length Policy

Socks shall be worn with a length of exactly 10-12 inches, plus or minus 1/2 inch for irregularities in the fabric.

Adjustments may be made for socks with reinforced toes or ankles.

Failure to comply will result in a stern letter from the Sock Overlord's sock puppet, Socky.

Section 3: Sock Texture

Section 3, Subsection C: Sock Texture Policy

Socks shall not be worn with excessive glitter, unless specifically approved by the Sock Overlord for a Sock Squad Event.

Requests for exceptions may be submitted to the Sock Overlord's sock drawer.
