Pointless Committee Agenda: Subcommittee of Superfluous Spending

Minutes from the meeting of the Subcommittee of Superfluous Spending, held on 3rd February 3000.

Chairperson, Bob Johnson, opened the meeting at precisely 9:45 AM.

The agenda for the meeting was:

• Item 1: Discussion of the feasibility of purchasing a new, unnecessary fountain pen.
• Item 2: Debate on whether or not to spend $10,000 on a commemorative plaque.
• Item 3: Review of the subcommittee's budget for the past fiscal year.

After a heated discussion, the subcommittee decided to spend an extra $5,000 on the fountain pen, and to allocate the remaining funds to buying more paper clips.
