The Chair, Bob, called the meeting to order at 3:45 PM, precisely on the dot.
First on the agenda: The Sock Debate.
Carol: "I say we should wear socks with our sandals. It's a matter of comfort and dignity."
Dave: "I disagree. Socks are a fashion abomination."
Bob: "I propose we table this discussion and move on to the next item."
Carrot (the committee's resident expert on all things vegetable): "I'd like to add that, as a carrot, I've seen some pretty rough-looking feet in my time, and I'm not convinced socks are the answer."
