MOTION 3: Make Puns Mandatory in All Official Committee Minutes

WHEREAS the current lack of wordplay in committee reports is a travesty, and

WHEREAS the people's representatives deserve better than bland, boring prose;

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that all official committee documents shall henceforth feature a minimum of one (1) decent pun per paragraph.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the committee chair shall be empowered to veto any submissions lacking sufficient merriment.

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a "Pun-ny" award shall be created to recognize outstanding contributions to the art of committee wordplay.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the committee as follows:

• Motion 5: Create a Department for the Development of More Pointless Motions
