3. Vote on whether or not the stapler is a distraction
After much debate, the committee decided that the meaning of life is actually just a series of nested Russian dolls.
By a vote of 3-2-1, the committee decided that the coffee mug must always be placed exactly 4.2 inches to the left of the stapler.
In a shocking turn of events, the committee voted to ban the stapler from all meetings, citing "it's just too darn shiny."
