Alan the Often-Absent is a member of this committee, but only in spirit. He's a busy man with a lot of other things to attend to... or not.
We've managed to track him down to 3 out of the last 12 meetings, and we're not sure if that's because he's really not here or if he's just really good at hiding.
Despite his lack of actual presence, Alan still manages to make a significant contribution to our meetings: his chair is always empty, so we have more room for our snacks.
