Sam is a consummate yes-man, always eager to agree with the latest hare-brained scheme. His impressive collection of "I'm a friend of a friend of a guy who knows someone" connections has allowed him to attend countless pointless meetings and conferences.
Sam's superlative skill is the ability to nod off in meetings, making his presence a true value to the committee, even if he never actually contributes anything of substance.
