Case #32: "The Great Donut Heist"
It's a little-known fact that the Community Ethics Committee was formed in response to a string of high-profile donut heists that plagued the community in the early days. Our brave heroes worked tirelessly to bring the perpetrators to justice, and their efforts have been immortalized in the annals of history.
The question on the table today was whether or not to punish the perpetrator of the heist, who had stolen a tray of freshly baked donuts from the community bakery. Some argued that the punishment should be severe, while others believed a sternly-worded letter would suffice.
After much deliberation, the committee voted 3-2 in favor of the letter. The reasoning behind this decision? "It's not the crime, it's the lack of donuts that's the real tragedy here."
