Bertha, the notorious IT disaster specialist, has been sentenced to a year of mandatory participation in "IT Fest" for her egregious crimes against the digital realm.
A judge, known for his affinity for dad jokes, delivered the verdict with a flourish, saying, "Bertha, your reckless disregard for patch management and your blatant disregard for best practices is a slap in the face of every sysadmin who's ever had to clean up after you."
Bertha's lawyer, a seasoned IT veteran, attempted to argue that her actions were justified by the need to "push the limits of IT innovation," but the judge was having none of it.
As a result, Bertha will be spending the next year attending IT Fest, where she'll be required to listen to keynote speeches by industry experts and participate in workshops on "Effective Use of the Enter Key" and "The Art of Not Breaking Things."
