Deputy's Guide to Table Manners for Denizens

Chapter 1: The Utensil Etiquette

When dining with the Deputy, always use your napkin to wipe your mouth.

Never, ever use your bare hands, or the Deputy's tablecloth will never be the same.

Chapter 2: Seating Arrangements

The Deputy's chair is always the most ornate chair in the room.

If you're not seated in the Deputy's chair, you're not really seated.

Subchapter 1: The Seat of Power

When seated, your back should always be straight, your hands should never touch, and your eyes should never stray from the Deputy's face.

This is not a suggestion, this is the law.

Subchapter 2: The Seat of Desperation

If you must use the bathroom, do not make eye contact with the Deputy while doing so. It's just not done.

Use the bathroom, and then return, with a smile, and a "thank you, Deputy."
