In the early 2000s, our great-grandfather met the love of his life, Bertha, at a karaoke bar. It was a disaster. He sang a rendition of "I Will Always Love You" off-key, and she left him at the bar's exit, never to be seen or heard from again.
Years later, our grandfather took a chance on the world-famous "Love Match" dating service. He paid top dollar for the promise of true love, but ended up with a 6'2" ex-basketball player who thought he was still single. Let's just say it was a slam dunk for disaster.
In the 80s, our father tried online dating, but his AOL username was "IWillDie4U." Needless to say, it didn't end well.
And then there's our mother... well, let's just say she's still trying to find love in the most... creative ways.
