Section 2: Section 4, the infamous law of unconventional sock puppetry, states that any individual found guilty of using a sock puppet to impersonate a sentient being shall be subject to a fine not exceeding 50 Galactic Credits. However, if the sock puppetry is deemed 'artistic' by the Galactic Union of Performance Artists, the fine may be reduced to 20 Galactic Credits.
It is worth noting that the definition of 'artistic' is left to the discretion of the Galactic Union's Council of Artistic Interpretation, who are known to be a notoriously unpredictable and flamboyant group.
For example, using a sock puppet to reenact the entirety of 'Hamlet' would likely be considered artistic, whereas using a sock puppet to order a sandwich from the Galactic Burger Palace would not.
