The Grand Council of Laws: Article 2, Section 2, Subsection 6, Subsubsection 5 - "The Right to be Righteous"

As enshrined in Article 2, Section 2, Subsection 6, Subsubsection 5 of the Grand Council of Laws, the Right to be Righteous is a fundamental human right that grants individuals the freedom to be as smug and self-satisfied as they please.

History has shown that without this right, humans would have been forced to spend their days subsisting on a diet of bitter disappointment and crushing ennui. But fear not! For we have codified this sacred right into the very fabric of our society.

This right is not without its responsibilities, of course. One must still pay one's taxes, refrain from being too smug about it, and not use the phrase "I told you so" in hushed tones while in public.
