Subsection 1 of the 12 Subsections of the 4 Laws of the Internet

Law 1: The Right to be Obnoxious

Section 1, Subsection 1 is where we define the fundamental right to be annoying to others. This is a sacred law, and any attempts to restrict it will be met with resistance.

As the great philosopher, Bertrand Russell, once said, "The trouble with the world is that the good are not always good and the bad are not always bad. But the really good are always good and the really bad are always bad." But we, the inhabitants of this subsection, know that the really good are always obnoxious and the really bad are always, well, also obnoxious.

This law is not to be confused with the Right to be Right, which is a completely different thing.
