Edict 2: The Unyielding Mandate
Section 4: The Mandate of Unrelenting Bureaucracy
By order of the Supreme Ruler of this Realm, it is hereby decreed that all citizens shall adhere to the following:
- Shall wear socks of a matching color to their eyes on Tuesdays.
- Shall consume exactly 3.7 cups of coffee per day, or risk being subject to a mandatory 3-day coffee withdrawal program.
- Shall use the word 'plebeian' in at least 5 sentences per day, in order to demonstrate a working understanding of the complexities of 19th-century French sociology.
Failure to comply with these mandates shall result in severe penalties, including but not limited to:
- Reassignment to a remote outpost on Neptune, where the only amenities are a functioning toilet and a 56Kbps internet connection.
- Forced viewing of an endless loop of elevator music.
- Revocation of all rights and privileges, including but not limited to the right to wear socks of a matching color to one's eyes.
