Established in 1987, Mandate 15 is a department within the Ministry of Redundancy, tasked with finding new ways to do the same old thing.
Key Milestones:
- 1987: Mandate 15 first comes into effect, requiring all employees to attend at least 3 meetings a week, each lasting at least 2 hours.
- 1992: The department discovers that meetings are more productive if they're held on Fridays.
- 2001: Mandate 15 introduces a new policy requiring all documents to be printed in triplicate and stapled with a staple gun.
- 2010: A team of highly trained specialists is hired to reformat all reports to 1.5 inches in height, to fit in the new binders.

- Buzzword Bingo: A new program where employees compete to use the most buzzwords in a single sentence.
- Weekly Memos: A new way of communicating with the team, where every week, a new memo is issued, reminding everyone of the same thing.
- Meeting Ninjas: A special task force trained to sneak into meetings and remind everyone of the same thing.
