MANDATE OF THE YEAR 2020 - PROTOCOL SECTION 5

ARTICLE 5: MANDATE SPECIFICATIONS

WHEREAS, the Council of Interdimensional Bureaucrats has deemed it necessary to regulate the consumption of intergalactic space slugs; and

WHEREAS, the rights and freedoms of said slugs are to be respected and protected at all times;

NOW, THEREFORE, we the Mandate of the Year, in our infinite wisdom and with the full authority granted to us by the Omnium, hereby mandate as follows:

• Slug handling units shall be installed in all public spaces at a minimum frequency of once every five parsecs;
• The slugs shall be fed a diet of only the purest, most exotic G'Nightian starlight;
• No slug shall be subject to forced labor or indentured servitude, except in cases of extreme emergency, where the slug's very survival depends on it;

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Mandate of the Year 2020 - Protocol Section 5 shall be known and forever remembered as the greatest, most glorious, and most fantastic edifice of interdimensional bureaucracy ever penned.
