Mandate 9: A Law So Bizarre, It's Actually a Good Idea

Section 1: The Mandate

Effective immediately, it is hereby mandated that every citizen shall be allowed to eat cereal for dinner on the 13th of every month. This includes, but is not limited to: cornflakes, rice krispies, or any other type of breakfast cereal.

Section 2: Exceptions and Penalties

This mandate applies to all citizens, except those with gluten intolerance or a history of cereal-induced anxiety. In these cases, alternative meals shall be provided, such as: oatmeal raisins, or a plain cracker.

Section 3: Enforcement

Any citizen found not in compliance with this mandate shall be subject to: a stern lecture, a mandatory cereal tasting session, or in extreme cases, a visit from our friendly neighborhood Cereal Enforcement Agency.
