Extracting Wisdom from Meetings
Meetings are the lifeblood of the corporate drone. But have you ever felt like you're extracting more pain than gain from these soul-sucking sessions? Fear not, dear idea broker, for we have tips to share with you!
- Arrive early, leave late. The more you're willing to sacrifice your personal time, the more you'll get to contribute to the group's suffering.
- Prepare your thoughts in advance. Write them down on your notes, and then proceed to forget where you put the notes. This way, you'll be free to regurgitate the same old ideas that everyone else has already mentioned.
- Take copious amounts of coffee. It'll give you the energy to feign interest in the other person's PowerPoint presentation.
