Strategy 4: Claim an external appointment

When in a meeting, pretend to have an external appointment that you just remembered.

You can claim a dentist appointment, a doctor's appointment, or a meeting with a client. The more ridiculous the appointment, the more convincing you'll be.

Example Usage:

I have an external dentist appointment, I just remembered!

Or: I have an external meeting with a client, I really need to get back to work on that report

Side Effects:

Your colleagues may start to suspect that you're just making up appointments, but you're too busy avoiding meetings to care.

Consequences:

You may get caught, but at least you'll have a good excuse for not participating in the meeting
