Below, you'll find the rules governing the sharpening of pencils, the lifeblood of our bureaucratic society.

Section 1: Pencil Selection

Only approved pencils may be sharpened. These include:

• Model 123: The standard issue pencil for all bureaucrats
• Model 456: The deluxe version, reserved for high-ranking officials
• Model 789: The experimental variant, not recommended for everyday use

Unapproved pencils will be confiscated and subjected to rigorous testing.

Section 2: Sharpening Techniques

Sharpness is key. Only authorized sharpening methods are permitted:

• The Standard Whetstone Method
• The High-Carbon Whetstone Method
• The Whetstone-in-a-Can Method (for extreme situations)

Unapproved methods will result in a 5-point penalty on your performance review.

Section 3: Pencil Maintenance

Proper storage and handling are crucial:

• Store sharpened pencils upright, with the tip facing the horizon
• Never touch the tip with your bare hands
• Carefully label each pencil for easy identification
