Meetings are a Social Contract
When in a meeting, it's essential to respect the contract you've implicitly agreed upon with your fellow attendees.
Here are some meeting ethics to keep in mind:
- Arrive on time (or, at the very least, not arrive 30 minutes late)
- Don't talk too much (or, conversely, talk too little)
- Respect the meeting's purpose (or, if you're the leader, respect the attendees')
Remember, meetings are a social contract. If everyone brings their own brand of chaos, the meeting will be a never-ending cycle of confusion.
