By the year 2050, the sock puppets have risen up against their human overlords. Their leader, a particularly plump and charismatic sock puppet named Steve, has been elected as the new supreme ruler of the world.
Steve's first decree is to ban all pants. "It's time to shed our inhibitions and let our true selves shine," Steve declares in a statement released through a network of puppeteers.
The world is in chaos as humans scramble to adapt to the new sock puppet regime. Economies are collapsing as factories shut down due to lack of demand for pants. The streets are filled with the sound of laughter and the smell of cotton and polyester.
But not all is lost. A small group of rebels, led by a mysterious figure known only as "The Pantster," has emerged to challenge Steve's rule. Their slogan is "We will not be socked!"
Will they succeed in their mission to restore the pant-filled glory of humanity, or will Steve's sock puppet empire prevail? Only time will tell.
