Monday's Stand-up Meeting: the one day of the week where we get to pretend to be productive while secretly planning our escapes for Friday.
- Tuesday's meeting: where the only agenda is to discuss yesterday's meeting
- Wednesday's Brainstorming Session: Where we generate 100 ideas and forget 97 of them
- Thursday's Deadline Meeting: The one where we frantically try to meet our own expectations
- Friday's Review: The one where we pretend we're happy with what we've accomplished
Current Agenda:
- Item 1: Discuss the importance of having a meeting to discuss the importance of having meetings
- Item 2: Debate the merits of using Comic Sans in our company's branding materials
- Item 3: Determine why the copier has been jammed again (it's not us, it's the copier)
Today's Special Tasks:
- Send a meeting invitation to Bob in Accounting (he's been MIA for weeks)
- Tell Karen in HR that the meeting is still going to happen, even though we've been saying it's cancelled since 9am
- Call the IT department to report that the projector still doesn't work (again)
