Meeting Minutes: The Unnecessary, Uninspired, and Utterly Underwhelming 2022-01/04/01/10
Present:
- Bob Smith (Clerk of the Underwhelming)
- Alice Johnson (Vice-Clerk of the Uninspired)
- Ted Johnson (Clerk of the Inane)
Objective:
To spend an hour discussing something we probably shouldn't have scheduled a meeting for.
Agenda:
- 1.0: Discuss the merits of beige as a neutral color
- 1.1: Debate the importance of proper meeting room chair ergonomics
- 2.0: Consider the impact of too much caffeine on productivity
- 2.1: Discuss whether or not to use Comic Sans in official documents
Minutes:
- Bob: "I'm not sure I see the point of this meeting, but I suppose it's better than a meeting on Tuesdays."
- Alice: "I'm with you, Bob. But have we considered the implications of beige on our office decor? Should we stick with beige or branch out into more exciting colors like burnt orange?"
- Ted: "Burnt orange, you say? I'm not sure that's an improvement over our current aesthetic, but I do have a suggestion on meeting room chair ergonomics. Have you ever considered using chairs with more pronounced lumbar support?"
- Alice: "That's a valid point, Ted. And, actually, I think we should table the beige discussion for now. Who's to say we won't be discussing something more interesting next week?"
Next Meeting:
Next Tuesday. Because, apparently, this meeting wasn't a complete waste of time.
