Annex 7: The Skeptics

Prophets of the Apocalypse

In the year 3050, the world had reached its peak of absurdity. The skies were perpetually painted with a sickly shade of chartreuse, the oceans had turned into a lukewarm chamomile tea, and the once-mighty mountains had been reduced to a pile of pixelated pixels. The only ones who still dared to speak truth to power were the Prophets of the Apocalypse, a group of sardonic visionaries who had mastered the art of being simultaneously right and wrong.

Led by the enigmatic Prophet Xarath, the Skeptics were known for their unwavering commitment to being skeptical of everything. They questioned the very fabric of reality, the meaning of life, and the existence of pineapple pizza. Their prophecies were always laced with a healthy dose of sarcasm and a pinch of disdain for the mundane.
