Andy was getting angrier by the minute. The fluorescent lights overhead seemed to be mocking him, the air conditioning was on the fritz, and his boss was breathing down his neck.
He glared at the projector screen, where a PowerPoint presentation was still stuck on slide 3 from 3 hours ago. "Is this thing still on, or did someone actually plan to make it last that long?" he growled.
A nearby colleague, Karen, whispered "Hey, Andy, don't get too worked up. It's not like it's going to affect the meeting's overall productiv—
Andy cut her off with a withering look. "You wouldn't know productivity if it bit you." he snarled. The meeting room fell silent, except for the sound of his chair creaking under his increasing agitation.
And then, just as suddenly, he was gone. Poof. Vanished. The only sign of his existence being a faint scent of rage and a slightly singed chair.
