Research Findings
After conducting an exhaustive study of 17 uncooperative participants, we have discovered:
- Unintentional jazz hands have resulted in 9 out of 10 reported cases of spontaneous combustion.
- 93% of respondents reported feeling "mildly to moderately embarrassed" after experiencing accidental jazz hands.
- 75% of participants required therapy to recover from the emotional trauma of jazz hands.
We have identified three distinct categories of accidental jazz hands:
- The "Sudden Onset" – characterized by a sudden, unexplained appearance of jazz hands, often during times of high stress or caffeine deprivation.
- The "Gradual Descent" – marked by a slow, inexorable slide into jazz hand territory, often accompanied by a sense of impending doom.
- The "Spontaneous Eruption" – a rare but catastrophic event, wherein the participant's jazz hands appear seemingly out of nowhere, often with little warning or provocation.
We recommend further research into the root causes of accidental jazz hands, including but not limited to:
- Stress levels and coping mechanisms
- Caffeine intake and its relation to jazz hand propensity
- The effects of social media on hand-related behavior
