Step 3 - Develop a Complex Project Mgmt System
Step 3 of the Procrastination Hacks for the Ambitious series. Because who needs simplicity when you can have complexity?
Create a system so convoluted that it will inevitably fail. Then, spend 3 weeks reconfiguring it.
Subsystems include:
- The "Maybe-If" module: A feature that lets you delay decisions until the last possible moment.
- The "Priorities-Manager 3000": A complex algorithm that constantly shifts priorities to keep you on track with your procrastination schedule.
- The "Auto-Reminder" system: Send yourself reminders to do things, then ignore them.
- The "Squirrel-Tracker": A tool to track every time you get sidetracked, because let's face it, it's going to happen.
For more information on implementing each of these features, see the submodules page.
Or, for a more practical approach, see Step 4 - Practice Frequent Minute Time Management for a more streamlined approach.
