Step 1: Identify the Task

Find the thing you're supposed to be doing. Yeah, that thing. The one you've been avoiding.

Read the requirements document... for 20 minutes. Make a list of all the things that might distract you.

Step 2: Eliminate Distractions (Sort Of)

Remove any unnecessary items from your list. You know, the ones that are definitely not important. Like checking your phone. Or checking your email.

Create a 'To-Do' list of things you'll do instead. Find a comfy spot to sit and get comfortable.

Step 3: Focus on the Important Stuff (Not)

Look at your 'To-Do' list and pick something that sounds really fun. Like watching cat videos.

Set a timer for 30 minutes. Challenge yourself to do nothing for that long. Reward yourself with a cookie when you succeed.

Step 4: Repeat as Necessary

Keep doing nothing until time's up. Or your mom calls. Or your stomach growls.
