Problem Statement

Solution Overview

Our team designed and implemented the Squirrel-Repellent System (SRS), a network of strategically-placed, AI-driven, motion-sensing, CO2-emitting, ultrasonic-sound-emitting, laser-trap-equipped, squirrel-deterrent devices.

SRS-001: A single, central server controlling the entire system
SRS-002: Four satellite devices, placed around the periphery of the server farm
SRS-003: Two backup devices, placed in the server farm's central hub

Results

Squirrels are now 97% less likely to approach our server farm. However, 3% of the time they still manage to get in, and our team has had to develop an emergency squirrel-deterrent team, consisting of highly trained, ninja-like, squirrel-handling specialists.

Server-side snack stockpiles are now 99% secure
Engineers are now 100% confused
