Does the Threat of Deadlines Cause Irritability?

This study investigated the effects of looming deadlines on the psychological state of individuals. The results suggest that the threat of deadlines can indeed cause irritability, anxiety, and stress.

The study consisted of 100 participants who were given a series of tasks with varying deadlines. The results showed that as the deadline approached, the participants' heart rates increased, their blood pressure soared, and their productivity plummeted.

Interestingly, when the participants were given a 'relaxed' deadline, their responses became more creative and their work prophets improved.

Conclusion: The threat of deadlines is a real and present danger to our mental health. We must be aware of its effects and take steps to mitigate them.
